Making a Difference

"To search and to serve" is the succinct statement of our church's mission. The searching part comes in our worship, in our adult and youth religious education, and in the many other ways we discover inspiration and guidance in our lives. The service part plays out partly through our “Making a Difference” effort.

The collection on most Sundays of the year is dedicated to a non-profit group or organization working to improve the lives of women and men in the Greater Cleveland area, and sometimes in far-off corners of our world. It is our way of making compassion part of our spiritual practice, both individually and as a community, and of extending the gratitude of our lives and the blessings of our congregation in ways that are helpful to those in need.
