Learn about your inner self from those who know such things,
but don't repeat verbatim what they say.
- Rumi (Barks)
This is one of the reasons why I love this guy so much. How Unitarian can you get? There is lots of help and guidance out there from those who have gone before us. There are lots of tales of searching and stumbling, of seeking and finding and losing and getting it as well as just getting confused. So many guides. But that is just what they all are: guides.

Echoing the first of these notes, I want to invite you to read the article I wrote for the Plain Dealer's "Messages of Faith" column. It appeared Saturday, May 29th, and is available at the cleveland.org web site. The address is: http://www.cleveland.com/religion/index.ssf/2010/05/like_poetry_religion_adds_dept.html
Listen to the presences inside poems.
Let then take you where they will.
Follow those private hints,
and never leave the premises.
