This week’s guests are Moderator:  Marc Lefkowitz, Interim Director, Green City Blue Lake Institute, and Panelists Matt Scharver, Deputy Director of Watershed Programs, Northeast Ohio Sewer District and Alex Margevicious, Cleveland Water Commissioner.

How safe is our drinking water? Over 1.3 million people are served by the Cleveland Water Department.   How can we protect ourselves from toxic chemicals, bacteria or algae? We use over 80 gallons of water each day to drink, wash, flush and waste.   Can we reduce sewage discharge into Lake Erie by 98% per the recent EPA and Department of Justice Settlement with NORSD (Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District)?

Come by for coffee and conversation.  All are welcome!
